How do I reduce no-show painting estimates?

Before the appointment

  • Book a specific date and time on the first call, not "I will call you to set something up."
  • Ask what they want painted, when they want it done and who needs to be there. A homeowner who has described the job is invested in the visit.
  • Book close. An estimate in 2 days holds better than one in 2 weeks.
  • Send a text right away with your name, photo, the date and the address.

On the day

  • Call the morning of to confirm. If they cannot make it, reschedule on that call.
  • Text when you are on the way.

Track it

Count no-shows per lead source. If one source has far more, the problem is the source or how those leads are booked, not your process.

Where Paint'd fits

Paint'd books every estimate on the first call with the address, scope and timeline in the notes, and calls the homeowner the morning of the estimate so you are not driving out to an empty house.
